We have been very successful with fresh and frozen semen artificial insemination of dogs, and also offer caesarian delivery (24 hours a day). We offer in house testing for progesterone levels and Brucella canis. Ultrasound examination can diagnose pregnancy as early as 30 days. We often recommend a radiograph which can be performed at 42+ days to evaluate pregnancy and number of fetuses. Knowing the fetal number and size (compared to dams pelvis) often helps us know when we may have problems with delivery.
