Dr. Brock Irwin was raised in Gruver, Texas. As the oldest son of Jody and Dr. Clint Irwin, he spent
much of his childhood at Hansford County Veterinary Hospital and knew from a young age he was
destined to be a rural veterinarian. After graduating high school, Brock studied animal science prior to
attending Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine.
Upon graduating from vet school in 2012, Dr. Irwin completed an internship at Oakridge Equine Hospital focusing on sports medicine and surgery. Following his internship, Dr. Irwin practiced large animal medicine and surgery in Lewiston, Idaho, where he also met his wife Natalie.
Dr. Irwin returned home to Hansford County Veterinary Hospital in 2016 where he continues to focus on equine and bovine medicine and surgery. In his free time, Brock enjoys flyfishing and chasing birds with Gary P.
